Unusual Homecoming

Well I came home this week on S

Well I came home this week on Sunday!!! It has been a wild adventure! But I'm very grateful that I'm out with my family!!!

So we have been quarantined for quite awhile, one whole week we were in the house studying and that's pretty much it, because no smartphone, no dvd, and scriptures hay, we have those! I learned so much from the new testament and how Jesus is just a beast, he blessed so many peoples lives and I'm so grateful for that and for his great example. But we had to get up at 4 in the morning and take a pickup from our area, we finally got to Momos, after 3 hours in the back of a pickup on dirt roads. I wanted to puke! But then we got escorted to Xela with a bunch of cars that took a ton of missionaries there. From there we stayed in a hotel, and we just chilled all day studying and playing some board games. So it went really well. We then had an emergency meeting early in the morning to go over instructions for how we were going to get to the capital. We left to the capital in like 6 big buses. When we got there, we stayed in the CCM that was closed. We had some devotionals and just chilled there for two days. Then Sunday we got up really early and went to the airport. We were one of the last groups to go in and after like 6 hours of waiting finally we made it into the airplane. We took a private airplane, straight to Salt Lake City. Then from there I got my bags and started my way up to the parking lot. Going through those doors was really hard, but I did it, walked a bit and boom I met my family. That was one of the best feelings I've ever had in my life!! So surprising and just so great to hug my family and be with them again. From there we came home and I was released as a missionary of the Mission Guatemala Quetzaltenango and it was hard to take off those placas. I said a prayer to end my fast and to end the mission. Never have really felt that strong spirit throughout my whole life, testifying to me that I did what I needed to do and that I did great, that he was thankful for my service. It was a very great moment. Then I got to see a bunch of you guys drive by and say hi, thanks for that and thanks for all your support throughout my mission and all your help. Guatemala is the best and I learned so much!! I'm so grateful for this opportunity and I will never forget it. I miss and love you guys!! I will see you very soon!! You can message me on whatever from social media or video chats. I'm here in the house, not being able to leave. So I would like that calls or texts.
