Avocados

Monday- Today we got up and had to go to Xela again, we went and I got to go to my physical therapy and they used electric currents through my arms to get my thumb moving, it was awesome haha! We then came back to Momos, and we ate at lools, I ordered a philly cheese steak sandwich, it was pretty bomb! Then we went back to the zone leaders and house played some uno then went and got our haircuts. After we wrote our families then went back to our area with two other elders. They are both from mexico and they came to help in our area, or to just stay in our house! But we found some peeps, then went to a noche de hogar together! It went really good the spirit was really strong, it was a cool evening. The hermana gave us some atol, and it was like boiling hot, we all burned our tongues but we drank it, we then had the sleep over with the other elders at our house, talking a lot. 

Tuesday- Today we got up and got ready and we all left to momos, we got there and had the district meeting, it went well, I taught about helping people ask more questions and how it can help the investigators and the members! After the meeting my comp got a ton of ties from this guy he sent tela in to make ties, he got like 30 ties from it. We then went to this place called flippers, it was amazing! Best quesadillas ever!! We then came back and visited a ton of people that were awesome, we found them today and they were really excited to hear from us. We then went with some members and shared little messages with them! 

Wednesday- Today we got up and my comp and I want to start working out so we made a plan called plan wifey! WE started today and it was leg day!! Felt so good, but I was sore after! We then got ready and left as soon as possible we had a cita with our gold investigator, we got to his house and said a prayer and we asked where he was at in the Book Of Mormon and he told us he was in Mosiah 10!! Mosiah!!! Are you kidding me!! Thats awesome haha, we then taught him the first lesson and he loved it and had a ton of questions! He really liked it and said he wanted to come to church again, good ol edgar he is just so awesome! WE then visited with some members in actives, and then we came back to the house to do some studies! LAter we left to go contact some houses, we found some decent people, I just love talking to people now, I was really scared when I first got to the mission but now thats all I want to do, and I just love meeting new people! We then went to tunayac and met these crazy guys they were really funny but really wack! LAter we took this path in the woods and got completely lost! We had no idea where we were! We found a road and followed it and it was so so long, we finally made it back and ended the night off with studies! 

Thursday- Today we got up early got our ab exercise done and left to Xela, I had my physical therapy and it went good, just hurt a tiny bit because the lady had no chill today, but it went well. We then came back to momos, and we went high up into the mountains to visit some people that we put appts with, they were not there so we just contacted some peeps up there, and it went pretty good! LAter we met with this guy that we gave a blessing before, he was all good and walking around and he loves listening from us, so we are excited and want to keep visiting him! WE then got to go eat dinner with a member, she made probably one of the best dinners Ive ever had here! She made some guacamole, barbecue chicken, this vegetable salad, and some beans, and onions. But she had this drink called punche, it is so so good! We finished then came back to the house!

Friday Today we got up and we washed our clothes and got some studies done! We also planned for our week! LAter we made some breakfast burritos and they were bomb! We then went way up into the mountains and this guy stopped us and was like hey you guys are the missionaries right? We were like yup, and he said I want to join you guys, because I guess his church robbed him or something and he needs help. But we will see what we can do! WE then contacted a ton of people and a lot of people didnt want anything but its all good. While we were coming back we found this big bridge that was sturdy haha, but was so high off the ground, we took some pics and then ran across it! It was fun! We then went with people to teach them about the BofM, it was great. I just love testifying of that, its just an awesome book and the word of god, and we can learn so many things from it! I invite all of you guys to read it! We then went with these investigators:members, we made french Toast for them, they loved it and had dinner with them and then shared a little scripture with them, they love french toast now!!

Saturday Today we got up and we had some studies, then we left to go visit oliver, this little kid but he wasnt home… we then visited some other people and shared some thoughts with them, then we came back to have lunch and had some fake roman, it was okay haha! We then left to Tunayac with a member, we visited with a ton of in actives  then we went to the church, cause our friend levy had keys, but the church in tunayac is tiny, but has an avocado tree!! Thats huge, so we threw some things to get avocados down, we got like 13 in the end!! WE then walked back and visited with this family, it was a cool lesson about faith, the hermana told us this story about her little girl getting heart surgery and it was cool! WE then helped this old lady  carry her wood to her house and that went pretty good! Tiring but good! We then contacted a few more people to end the night off!

Sunday Today we got up and we got ready and went down to church, we waited outside for our investigator edgar! He said he was going to come, he lives like 40 min walk from here. Anyways we waited and waited, then we went inside to take the sacrament, after the sacrament he came in!! He sat down with his mom and sister too! Which is great! We had great talks given and then priesthood was really good too! Later we had all our meetings after church and they went really good! We then went to visit this guy named cesar, we went to clear out there, we said a prayer with him and shared a little message, but my comp and I both felt really good about him and cant wait to teach him and his fam! We then visited some other people that werent home but we also got to contact other peeps too! Later we came back to the church, and we made some invitations, after we planned our activity, then we got a ride to momos because we had to sleepover at the zone leaders house for the night. 

Monday TOday we got up early and I got to go with Elder Paxtor, we left to Xela, I went to my physical therapy and it went really good! I'm improving so thats good! Then we went to his appt at the doctors, then after kind of got lunch then we started on our way back to momos. We got back and went staright to the internet and wrote our parents and everybody. Then we got our haircuts after! We then met up with our companions and my comp and I went home! We were on top and it was crazy at night but fun!

Tuesday Today we got up and had our personal study and then we went to go visit a couple of people, we didnt find them so we started heading up this huge mountain! I thought I was gonna die it was so long and steep! We got to the top and visited with some people over there, it went really good they seemed pretty interested! Then we visited with this one guy named cesar and he told us a bunch of stories of how these wizards cursed him and all this stuff that happened. It was crazy, but he wants to come to our church and try it he said! We then went with this Hna that lives clear up there, we got up there. They havent had water for 4 months, so we offered to help get some water from the river, we carried these pots, got some water and carried it on our heads haha! It was really awesome but hard to balance, we both got soaked haha! WE then came back to the house and got changed and showered.

Wednesday Today we got up early and got ready fast and then we left for Xela, we got to Xela and it was our multi zone, so tht zones from xela and toto came! It went really good, our president talked a lot about having a lot of faith, and that we needed to be obedient and not be prideful! That we needed to work with the ward, so that the ward could help us receive references! We then had some lunch after and ohh, my first lunch in awhile, we got mashed potatoes and barbecue chicken! So good! We then got together and we all left back to momos together as a zone, the bus was packed, I stood for almost two hours!! I wanted to die! We then got to momos and then took a bus to our area with other elders that had to go the same way. WE got to our area, and we went and found a couple of people, they were really nice with us and let us in and we said a prayer, the spirit was so strong! 

Thursday Today we got up early again and wen to Xela, we had my appt again… the old lady destroyed me, it hurt so bad!! But then we came back and we had divisions. I got to go with Elder Paxtor and I stayed in momos, while our comps went back to my area. SO it is the fair this week in Momos, it is crazy, there is so many things that happen. Its basically a huge market, then a bunch of fair stuff, they also have guys that dress up like monkeys and go up really high and do flips on these ropes, they have huge concerts that happen, they have like flash mobs everywhere! But this is all in Momos, the center, not in my area… But it has been going on this week. We went and had lunch at a ladies house. Then we left to go contact some people, we had to go through the fair a little bit and it was packed with people! WE then visited a bunch of members and stuff, it went really good we shared really cool messages with them! WE saw this flash mob that was crazy! We then met this member that has her grandkids down from the states, they were speaking english with me! We then contacted for the rest of the night and came back and had some of our studies!

Friday Today we got up and took a bus that goes to this place called polugua, we met some missionaries up there and my comp, we exchanged missionaries and then we came back to my area. We had our studies and then we planned our week for the upcoming week! Went really good we are planning on putting two dates with people next week! We then had lunch and we made breakfast burritos. We then went with some investigators and a lot of them werent home, so we contacted some houses, and it went really good we found some really cool families and it was nice and fun to get to know them. WE then went with theses members and had a noche de hogar with them and later we left and visited this family that lives clear in the woods,it was so dark, but we went and it was well needed, this family told us everything that has been happening to them. They were so glad we came and they said they wanted to learn more. 

Saturday We went clear up into the mountains, and we visited a couple people that were over there, we shared some scriptures with them. We then came back to have lunch and we had some ramen and chicken sandwiches. We then left to visit some investigators, we taught them about the Book of mormon and how it important it is in our lives. We then had some family home evenings with some members, and it went awesome, they loved the messages we shared and we invited them to this activity that the ward is going to do this saturday coming up.

Sunday today we got up and we went to church, there were some great testimonies shared and I even shared mine, I love sharing my testimony because it really doesn't have to be really long, it is just a short and simple but very powerful! I hope we can all do that! We then left with a member to go visit in active members and visit some investigators overall it went really well, and talked with our friend a lot  about the mission and the miracles we have seen, it was really fun! We then came back to the house and had our studies and then went to bed. 

These past two weeks have been awesome, we have been working so hard and I have been having so much fun!! Thank you guys for your support! Keep doing what you are doing and following christ and his example! Miss and love you guys!!
