Week 14 - Wilson's Baptism / Zaculeo
Thursday- Today we woke up and we had a district meeting, it went really good. After we had lunch and visited with some families. Later in the night we had divisions with the Hacedores for one appt, I went with Elder Viajaron and we went to Erick and had a lesson on the holy ghost and The gospel, it went really good, the spirit was so strong I can't even explain it, we then all bore testimony and his fiance did too, she was crying and that was so strong for him. We then invited him to be baptized and he said yes, but they kept the Baptism paper to fill out so we will see, but awesome lesson. After we had some time and he asked me where we should Cosechar for new investigators, I said [let's go by the church[ we went over there and there were houses but I didn't know what one, we had a prayer in the street, a prompting came to us that we should talk these kids, we did and they had a little brother that is 9 and wants to be baptized, they are members but the little boy isn't. IT was crazy!! What a miracle, we have an appt with them tomorrow and are going to invite him to be baptized for this saturday! Elder Viajaron has been out 22 months and he is a awesome missionary and has taught me a lot.
Friday -today was amazing!! So we had lunch at a sister's house, and her grandson loves to read and we taught him and we invited him to baptism but he is still thinking about it. But we will work with him! Then we met with a investigator, she is catholic but we taught her some things and invited her to church and she said she would come and really liked what we talked and even prayed. It was really cool to feel the spirit in that lesson. Later the youth had an activity we went, and met three new youth that aren't members and got their contact info. Really good. Then we went with Josue our old investigator and went to Wilson's house. We taught him most the lessons and his family, we invited him to be baptized tomorrow! We filled out the papers, went to the church and had a interview with the Hacedores Missionaries, one acedore that interviewed him, said he knows everything haha, we thanked them and they called the President for permission to baptize and our president was way happy and said yes. What a miracle this is.
Saturday- Today we got up at 3 in the morning and walked this old lady to the church. We left at 5 on a bus, I couldn't sleep because the bus ride was really bumpy! We then went into the temple with Josue and some other youth. They wouldn't let us do baptisms, even though our President gave us a permission. But we were testifiers and we got to watch Josue baptize people, it was awesome. He tries going to the temple every week even though it is really hard and expensive. We then came back from the temple around 4ish. We got our stuff ready for the baptism and went to the church and there was already water in the font, so that was good. We then met Wilson outside, he was playing with his friends and he was inviting every single one, it was so cool to see how excited he was. We then got Wilson changed and I got changed, then the Hacedores showed up and came for it. We then had really good messages shared. After I got to baptize wilson, what a experience, I can{t even explain it. But the water was freezing cold haha, he was breathing hard after haha. After we had tamales and Wilson was so happy. It was so nice to see that. So I found out what Hacedores full name is, Hacedores de milagros. This week has been full of miracles and blessings. It has been awesome.
