 Josh was called to serve in the Guatemala Quetzaltenango Mission, reporting on June 27, 2018 to the Guatemala MTC in Guatemala City!

Week 8: Cow Eyeballs and 1st Blessing in Spanish

Tuesday, today was a good day we woke up and had to do personal study and then take a bus to the stake meeting house, we had district with the other missionaries in our district. We talked about all our goals and other things, I didn't understand a whole lot, but I'm getting better at it. We then had to walk all the way back, and got lunch. We then had companion and language study. It started to pour, we were making appointments on the phone for the next few days and then we had to leave to do some visits. And it was pouring, the first house didn't answer. Then the second house was Hermana Rosario and she has a big family that isn't members, but she is. We taught a lesson to some of her family, then she has a broken foot that hasn't been healing, so she asked for a blessing, I was hoping to do the first part, but my companion just started doing it. Week 14 - Wilson's Baptism / Zaculeo

Wednesday- Today we got up and had to pick up our laundry, after we had appts with the President, I asked him for time to write, because we didn't get any time yesterday. He said 30 min, not a lot, but at least we get to write a few things haha. Anyways after we had lunch and the Sister made us some really good soup, most the soup here is so good! After we tried visiting with people but they were not home. After we prayed like 3 times to find out who to teach or visit, we felt the prompting to visit the family above us and Hermano Allan, we talked with him and his family for awhile and it was really good. He really needed it. It was really cool to follow the spirit and come out really good. Thursday- Today we woke up and we had a district meeting, it went really good. After we had lunch and visited with some families. Week 34: Best Week of My Life

Monday- My birthday!!!! Today we got up and got ready then went and played sports for like 3 hours, after we went to eat at the only restaurant in our area, a pizza place haha, it was really good, we then got our haircuts and then went to write everybody. After we did divisions to help the other missionaries go to two appts. I went with Elder Lopez and we had a great lesson with one of their investigators, later we went to this family's house to have dinner, then we shared a little thought with them, later we went with this family, his name is Diego and his wife L ucy, he had a little treat for me and sang happy birthday to me, he is the best, his wife is going to have her baby this week, and he painted a room and bought a bunch of clothes and made some too, but we gave his wife a blessing to help her. We came back home, my president called me to wish me a happy birthday, then we got the cake out and my comps sung happy birthday to me, we had the cake and later went to sleep...
