 Josh was called to serve in the Guatemala Quetzaltenango Mission, reporting on June 27, 2018 to the Guatemala MTC in Guatemala City!

Unusual Homecoming

Well I came home this week on S Well I came home this week on Sunday!!! It has been a wild adventure! But I'm very grateful that I'm out with my family!!! So we have been quarantined for quite awhile, one whole week we were in the house studying and that's pretty much it, because no smartphone, no dvd, and scriptures hay, we have those! I learned so much from the new testament and how Jesus is just a beast, he blessed so many peoples lives and I'm so grateful for that and for his great example. But we had to get up at 4 in the morning and take a pickup from our area, we finally got to Momos, after 3 hours in the back of a pickup on dirt roads. I wanted to puke! But then we got escorted to Xela with a bunch of cars that took a ton of missionaries there. From there we stayed in a hotel, and we just chilled all day studying and playing some board games. Vinny got his learner's permit today!  He opted out of driving straight home and, believe me, I tried... Debut drive to Jordan Landing was a success.  This dude is already pretty decent at driving!

Still Soccer Back at Home

This week at home was a sporty one - soccer and XC for Vinny.  He was able to be a ball boy at the REAL Salt Lake Game with his soccer club.  This was a televised game and we had fun spotting him a couple of times.  They had some rain and delay time, but he had a blast. We drove to Utah County two days in a row.  The first was for a scrimmage that made everyone a little irritated - driving an hour and a half in rush hour traffic only to realize the scrimmage was with a girl's team.  Nothing against girls (I am one - girl power) but it wasn't worth the drive. I drove Vinny and his friends down to Orem for his friend, Haley's tournament game.  Another blowout, but it was fun to support her and we had a fun road trip and finished it off with Swig drinks and cookies for Vin's friends who'd never been there. Vinny's new headset and mic after Octavia chewed the other one that was left on the couch overnight.  Naughty dog!
